Made for one more run.

Callaloop is an independent mobile game studio. Our first game, Venture Out: Wild Waters, is a one-thumb paddling adventure coming soon to iPhone and Android.

Venture OutWild Waters

Paddle out at first light. Whack what bites. Make it to the far dock.

Venture Out is our first game: a one-thumb arcade adventure across nine waters, from a dawn forest lake to the cliffs of Positano. Read the water, time your strokes, and stay aboard while gators, sharks, traffic and the shoreline close in.

  • One thumb Hold either side to steer, and tap whatever bites.
  • Nine waters A dawn lake, a lantern-lit bayou, a neon harbor, the Big Sur coast and five real places.
  • Four craft, three stories Paddleboard, canoe, rowboat and jet ski, plus a Daily run and a World Tour.

Built from the water up.

  • Water you can read

A custom water shader with real wave motion, sky reflections and foam where the hull meets the water, so you can read the current before you hit it.

  • A world made in code

Shorelines, skies, textures and every paddler are generated by the game itself, so each water has its own shape and light.

  • Real places, rebuilt

Amsterdam’s canals, Lake Union, the Thames, the Seine and Positano, each rebuilt as water you can paddle, landmarks included.

  • Made for phones

One-thumb controls, portrait play, haptics, and quality settings that keep older phones smooth. Once installed, it plays offline.

Three rules we build by.

We make games that fit in a spare minute and still feel worth your time: quick to learn, lovely to look at, and fair to your wallet.

  • One thumb is enough

Every control fits under one thumb, so a run works on the bus, in a queue, or with a coffee in your other hand.

  • Earned, not sold

No energy timers, no loot boxes, no pay-to-win. You unlock things by playing.

  • Worth the trip

Real places, warm light, and water you’ll want to stop and watch.

Game two is on the workbench.

We’re not ready to show it yet. Follow along for first looks, and you’ll hear about it before anyone else.

Say hello.

Press, partnerships, creator copies, or a gator that ate your run. We read everything.
